Lag B'Omer

Yesterday at our shul barbeque to celebrate Lag B'Omer...

LO: Rabbi, where is the bonfire?

Rabbi: Well...

LO: (interrupting) Because you know there's supposed to be a bonfire for Lag B'Omer.

Rabbi: (smiling) Yes, I do.

Leave it to LO to try to keep everyone on their toes, even our Rabbi.

(This is actually the second year in a row that we couldn't have a bonfire as we are under
drought conditions.)

Ann's class had a picnic in the preschool yard today, complete with faux paper bonfire, guitar-playing teacher, and a special school lunch of macaroni and cheese. She came home wearing a very stylish, self-made visor "to protect my eyes from the sun!"
Happy Lag Ba'Omer!

Sounds like you have a little Rabbi on your hands!

A good bonfire makes all the difference.

Yes, now you just need to take to her Mt. Meron for a really wild time!
