Every year at this time, LO and I head out to the strawberry fields to pick our own strawberries. I always joke that it's a good thing that they don't weigh her before and after since she probably eats 4 out of every 5 that she picks. This year was no different than any of the others and she left with a full belly and strawberry juice all over her face and clothes.
It was a beautiful day here in South Florida and we took full advantage of the weather. To our friends that live in places that look like this:
We send you warmth and an open invitation to come visit the Sunshine State anytime!

Those strawberries look huge!
I live in an area that should look like that second photo right about now but thanks to global warming it's been one of the non-whitest winters I can recall in recent years. Which is fine by me.
mmmm...it looks really nice there. Warm and full of strawberries! I always loved going apple picking when I was a kid.
How much fun!
Strawberries in January!!? Where is this place? I miss Northern California and its organic farms...we used to strawberry pick in May! I haven't found any local Georgia produce, but it's still unexplored territory...
fun!
Hmm...It is about 82 here in LA. Think I'll go grab some of our strawberries. Those look pretty good.
I agree - strawberries in January - why aren't we all living in paradise?! It should be mandatory!
I can smell them from here!
You ought to submit this as a campaign for the Florida tourist board-
What a contrast!
Yuuum!
They look delicious... and so big!
