Meshugganah Hamentashen

Here they are...our first attempt.

(Ok - our second attempt - our first attempt tasted like chalky rocks. We may be able to use them as paperweights or doorstops.)

Yes - this is what happens when an 8-year old and her non-baking/"should really stay out of the kitchen" mother attempt to bake.

Do they look meshugganah? If LO and I sent you mishloach manot with these included, would you eat them?

I'd eat them! They are unique and homemade, of course they aren't going to look perfect!

I'd eat them, too. Anything meshugganah is okay by me!

I'd eat them, but first I'd schedule an appointment with my dentist. ;)

I'd eat them... well theoretically... I mean, if I was eating carbs, that is. ;-)

Those look pretty good to me, and I love to bake. Homemade stuff wins anytime. I'm glad you and LO had the fun of baking together! Wish me luck when I try it next week over here!

Those look so good- so much better than the ones I bought at Costco.

I wouldn't eat them. I'd keep them under my pillow as a constant reminder of your kindness.

P.S., Bice is back.

I'm impressed they held their shape. My hamentaschen almost never stay tucked in: they always unfold. I'm going to give them another shot next weekend.
