So I was cleaning up in LO's room the other day and on her desk I saw a piece of paper with a heart drawn on it. Inside of the heart was her name + the name of a little boy from our shul. (I was a little surprised since she is and will always be my baby but she's NINE! Isn't this too young to be having the whole "puppy love" thing going on?)
I thought a little more about it and then I realized that after Shabbat services, she always runs off into the social hall and I always see her with him. (YIKES!) So I decided to say something to her. Her response? "Well, you want me to be with someone who is Jewish." How on earth could I argue with that?

As you probably are, I'm conflicted between saying "How cute!" and "Oy vey!" Parenthood is a trip!
