Our own slice of paradise
I woke up the other morning and this is what I saw out the window. Meshugganah as I am, I grabbed the camera and ran into the backyard to take some pictures.
In a world full of sterotypes, I love that I break several of them...I'm 100% Chinese but at 5'8" I'm considered tall...I'm Jewish and almost every time I go to shul or the kosher market, there is at least one person (usually more) who stares at me in disbelief...my daughter (LO or Little Orieyenta) is adopted from China but between the two of us (since we live in Miami) we speak more Spanish than we do Chinese and as odd as it may seem, we speak more Hebrew than we do Spanish.
