A friend from Hebrew school brought LO to a Rick Recht concert motzei Shabbos. LO was starstruck. The friend's mother bought a CD for LO at the concert. I'm not sure I am going to survive another day of this...

- In a world full of sterotypes, I love that I break several of them...I'm 100% Chinese but at 5'8" I'm considered tall...I'm Jewish and almost every time I go to shul or the kosher market, there is at least one person (usually more) who stares at me in disbelief...my daughter (LO or Little Orieyenta) is adopted from China but between the two of us (since we live in Miami) we speak more Spanish than we do Chinese and as odd as it may seem, we speak more Hebrew than we do Spanish.

Awww...my kids love Rick Recht, too! We usually blast his music in the car.
Recht is apparently some sort of cousin to my DH... he looks a lot younger in the video... I've never heard him sing though. I have to admit, I couldn't actually stand to listen to the entire video - either one, actually. WHO is the second guy?
